Species & Seasons

Enjoy a great day of fishing with Reelin' Em' N, then have our local restaurant cook your "catch of the day" for the ultimate fresh fish experience.

During your fishing charter, you'll have the opportunity to catch a variety of fish including inshore, near shore and offshore species. Inshore fishing includes jacks, trout, redfish, pompano, sharks, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, and tarpon. Nearshore means a little run out to hit rock piles for snapper, grouper, king mackerel, triggerfish, cobia, and more. Offshore charters require running out to deeper waters including stops at oil rigs for bigger game like dolphin (mahi), tuna, and snapper and grouper, as well wahoo, white marlin and blue marlin.

The Gulf of Mexico off the Alabama coasts offers an incredible variety of saltwater fishing opportunities. Below is a chart showing the species available and the best times to go after them.
